Clarity Hearing Introduces ‘Tele Audiology’ to the Greater Houston Area

Current social distancing and stay at home measures have changed the way Houston residents live their daily lives. In an effort to combat the COVID-19 virus, meetings between people outside their homes have been strongly discouraged.

At Clarity Hearing, we care about our patients and want to ensure that their hearing healthcare remains a top priority despite these challenging times.

To continue to do so, we are pleased to now offer patients a Tele Audiology service. This innovative service will bring patients face-to-face with their audiologist in a 15-minute video consultation via their smartphone, tablet, or computer. Patients will receive the same level of care and support as they would in a physical face-to-face appointment at our offices.

These appointments are ideal for anyone who seeks professional advice, reassurance, or hearing support.

So, What is Tele Audiology?

Rather than visiting our office in person, Tele Audiology connects patients to their audiologist in a video call which is made through their cell, tablet, or computer.

There’s no need to rearrange any schedules, cancel other appointments, or worry about travel.

Patients can discuss their hearing concerns with their doctor and receive no-obligation advice. Furthermore, patients who currently wear hearing aids can take advantage of their device’s remote programming features. Our audiologists can identify any problems, remotely adjust settings, and reconfigure the devices as needed.

How Does it Work?

Upon confirming a time, you will recieve email instructions that will confirm your date/time, test your speaker/camera, and share a link to click prior to the call.

At the agreed meeting time, a hearing care expert will enter the call for your face-to-face online appointment.

You will recieve in-depth advice and support with any questions or challenges that you may be facing. If further help is needed, then the doctor will be able to offer you professional advice.
