To make the most of your hearing aids, pair them with your Apple iPhone or iPad so you can adjust their settings with ease.

If you have non-rechargeable hearing aids, you’ll need to open the battery door and close it.

Most made-for iPhone hearing aids will pair to your Apple device using the same or very similar instructions. So here’s what you need to do if you have ReSound Linx Quattro rechargeable hearing aids:

  1. Open the charger and remove both hearing aids to set them in pairing mode.
  2. On your iPad or iPhone, go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
  3. Scroll up and select MFi hearing devices.
  4. Select GN ReSound right and left.
  5. Wait for a pop-up that says Pair for each of the right and left hearing aids.
  6. Select Pair for each of the hearing aids.
  7. The screen will show that both the right and left hearing aids are now paired.
  8. Open the ReSound smartphone app.
  9. The hearing aids will be paired.
  10. Select Continue.
  11. The screen will show that both the right and left hearing aids are now paired.
  12. Click on the home key.
  13. You are now ready to use your iPhone or iPad to control your hearing aids.
