The Senior Resource Guide
The Senior Resource Guide is a publication offering lifestyle resources to active aging adults, caregivers and eldercare professionals in Texas. Printed editions are published twice a year and many people read the online digital editions too.
The 2018 awards covered a wide range of categories, with the introduction of some new categories as well as the old favorites. Leisure & Lifestyle, Health & Beauty, Housing & Homecare, Food & Drink were all covered, as well as Texas Professionals, which includes the Best Audiologist category as well as a whole host of other health care professionals.

These Best of Awards help seniors all over Texas to know which professionals and companies they can go to for the best service in the area. From cruise ships to ice cream and law attorneys to veterinarians, as well as of course Audiologists, every aspect of life is covered. So many people rely on the Senior Resource Guide to help them navigate the quirks of aging, and the Best of Awards are their way of showing just who they think the best professionals and providers are.

Dr. Shital Patel has helped many people with their hearing concerns in the time she’s been working with us here at Clarity Hearing. She graduated as a Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2003 and has been gaining invaluable experience in her field ever since. Our patients find her to be very professional and knowledgeable, as well as empathetic and helpful. She understands how hard it can be to admit having hearing loss and asking for help, and treats her patients with great respect. We think she really deserves this award and we’re very proud of her.
