To continue to do so, we are pleased to now offer patients a Tele Audiology service. This innovative service will bring patients face-to-face with their audiologist in a 15-minute video consultation via their smartphone, tablet, or computer. Patients will receive the same level of care and support as they would in a physical face-to-face appointment at our offices.
These appointments are ideal for anyone who seeks professional advice, reassurance, or hearing support.
So, What is Tele Audiology?
Rather than visiting our office in person, Tele Audiology connects patients to their audiologist in a video call which is made through their cell, tablet, or computer.
There’s no need to rearrange any schedules, cancel other appointments, or worry about travel.
Patients can discuss their hearing concerns with their doctor and receive no-obligation advice. Furthermore, patients who currently wear hearing aids can take advantage of their device’s remote programming features. Our audiologists can identify any problems, remotely adjust settings, and reconfigure the devices as needed.
How Does it Work?
Step 1 - Schedule Appointment
Complete the form on this stage and a member of the team will contact you to schedule your “Tele Audiology” appointment.
Step 2 - Email Instructions
Upon confirming a time, you will receive email instructions that will confirm your date/time, test your speaker camera, and share a link to click prior to the call.
Step 3 - Speak to a Doctor
At the agreed time, the doctor of audiology will enter the call for your face-to-face online appointment.
Step 4 - The Presence Of Earwax Is Not A Sign Of Poor Hygiene
You will receive in-depth advice and support with any questions or challenges that you may be facing. If further help is needed, then the doctor will be able to offer you professional advice.
