Welcome. Dr. Scott Marquardt here bringing you our monthly newsletter.
Happy New Year!
The new year inspires hope for so many of us. It is the one time of year when we can resolve to do better than we did the year before.
We challenge you to make small changes every day, which will have a big impact in the long run. Our bodies are amazing! They carry us throughout our lives, from birth to old age. If we take care of our bodies, they will take care of us and how we experience this incredible gift of life.
So, what can you do, you ask? Start from the inside out, nourish yourself and your family with real home-cooked food. Nourish your mind with great conversation and your soul with laughter. Be kind to yourself. Get fresh air daily and breathe deeply. Staying active doesn’t have to mean hitting the gym every day. Stay active in whatever sense you can, even if it means just getting out of the house to visit a friend, or to have a coffee and a little walk in the park, perhaps take up a new hobby?
Give yourself permission to have fun, to enjoy the small moments in life – you may not realize this, but all these things have an impact on your hearing health as well as your overall wellbeing.
For the rest, we are here to help. We have a personal duty to the residents of The Woodlands, Conroe, Cypress, Spring, Tomball, and Willowbrook areas to focus on your hearing health and help you to maximize your hearing capabilities to ensure you never miss a moment.
We hope you have the best year yet!

The Marquardt Hearing Foundation, Inc
And now, here’s your chance to play a role in our life-changing endeavors in two very special ways. Kindly consider making a financial donation to the foundation so that we can continue to improve many more lives. If you would like to help, phone us at 936-273-4437.
Secondly, consider donating your devices when you purchase new hearing aids. Sometimes we can use them for our foundation, and sometimes we send them on to a Foundation that works in other countries.
Alternatively, if you know of someone who could benefit from hearing aids but simply can’t afford them, please encourage them to contact us, and we’ll see if we can help them out.
Hearing Health Tip
Ignoring hearing loss can have a detrimental effect on long-term auditory health and exacerbate other physical and mental conditions such as dementia and depression.
In some cases, hearing loss links to underlying causes like heart disease. Getting your ears checked can lead to early detection of these conditions.
There really is no greater feeling than waking up and knowing we’ve improved someone’s life. That’s why we’d love to hear your honest review.

Oh, and one last thing…
We know the whole insurance side of things is a total minefield. Where do you even start? Fear not, we will look at your insurance on your behalf and tell you whether it covers your audiological costs.
