What Our Team Have to Say
Hear from our team about their experience working at Clarity Hearing

Dr. Dominique Olivarez
Audiologist
Dominique joined the Clarity Hearing team in June 2018. At the time, she wanted to practice all aspects of audiology. After all, she loved the patient care side of her work as much as the science itself.
Soon, Dominique identified three main objectives she hoped to accomplish in her role. The Tomball location primarily cared for veterans, and Dominique hoped to build up private pay patients and physician referrals.
Next, she hoped to expand services to include cochlear implants (CI) and bone anchored hearing aids (BAHA) as well as to create a vestibular program and build up referrals for vestibular testing. Dominique is thrilled that her goals have been achieved, though she acknowledges it’s been a team effort all around. She shares, “Through word of mouth, happy patients, happy physicians, and being in the community, we now regularly see private pay patients for hearing aids, CI, BAHA, cerumen removal, auditory processing disorder (APD), and tinnitus management.”
She says that physician referrals have grown significantly, not just in the number of referrals but in the number of physicians referring as well. Additionally, the vestibular schedule is consistently being filled.
Dominique’s favorite part of working at Clarity Hearing is “having the freedom and support to perform honest, genuine patient care by using the most advanced technology and best practices available.”
She encourages others to consider a career at Clarity Hearing. Dominique enthusiastically says, “Scott Marquardt is the best employer you could ask for. He provides an autonomous and positive work environment that promotes excellent, quality patient care according to best practices.”

Victoria Calkins
Patient Care Coordinator
Victoria has greeted and assisted patients at Clarity Hearing for the last eight years.
Recalling her aspirations upon joining the team, Victoria says she looked forward to working with a team of people she respected and to gain their respect. She also wanted to serve the community.
Victoria has settled well into her role within the Clarity Hearing family, and she loves helping people every day. She says, “I could not work with finer people.
Dr. Marquardt has done an outstanding job of bringing together a very diverse team of audiologists and staff with a very specific goal of helping people.”
When asked if she would recommend working at Clarity Hearing, she doesn’t hesitate to say, “Absolutely! We have an awesome boss that treats you like a person not a commodity and gives you the resources to be the best you can be at the task you are given.”

Dr. Katie Miller
Audiologist
When Katie joined the Clarity Hearing team in January 2021, her main objective was to offer patients “excellent and efficient patient care.”
She also aspired to learn more about specialized areas of audiology, such as cochlear implants and auditory processing.
Katie is pleased that she has had the opportunity to expand her knowledge in these specific areas.
She notes that her favorite parts of her role are helping people improve their hearing and continuously learning new things.
Katie highly recommends working at Clarity Hearing. She shares, “You will be joining a team of people who are committed to providing excellent patient care and who are thorough and thoughtful.”
Kate Hurley
Patient Care Coordinator
In May 2021, Kate joined the Clarity Hearing team. She was eager to fulfill the front desk duties and learn new skills along the way.
Since then, Kate says, “I have been able to learn more than I ever thought or was interested in from the beginning.”
She is pleased to help the doctors and says this makes the patients happy in turn.
Kate thoroughly enjoys making a difference in people’s lives. She also loves the work environment which has allowed her to thrive. “I love that I can work without having someone hovering over my shoulders.
I love that I have a wonderful boss and team to work with,” says Kate.
She hopes prospective employees won’t miss the opportunity to work for Clarity Hearing. “This is the best company I have worked for in my whole career life,” says Kate. “Scott, the owner, is a great boss.
I would not pass the opportunity up. I would say it’s a privilege to work at Clarity Hearing.”
